I choose to see the world through rose colored glasses
Disregarding all the negativity that in front of me passes
Seeing the beauty that others miss without true vision
Because they focus on the world's negative destruction.
While others may take action against the injustices
And use bickering and back talking as their auspices
I choose to peacefully nurture the promises contending
To be the kind that is full of attention that is encouraging.
If you see someone fall because of criticism drowning them
Be the one that lends a hand to lift with no uncertain terms
But start with the ones who stand by your side each day
Don't let the world's problems become a door for escape.
For that's the worst excuse to make to ignore your family
Saving the world will not make a stronger community
I believe it's starts with how you love in your home
And how your love can grow to affect not just you alone.
Try to destroy the sadness that cloud the world around you
Then you may see the happiness spread like a fervor flu
Maybe that will be the ultimate way to save our precious planet
By lifting souls in happiness who will see the world and want it.
