'Where were you yesterday,' someone asked me.
I didn't really want to answer, since I'm trying to live for today.
"But if you really must know, I was the one in a hurry...
The one who was stubborn and who knew everything to say".
'What are your plans for the future,' the other one pried.
I knew better than to lay this all out, since I made so many mistakes.
"But if you really must know, I am the kind who has cried...
And I know that I am prone to it and it's a chance I must take."
'What will you accomplish today,' the mysterious one asked.
I was bewildered and confused, since I now had a choice.
"But if you really must know, I will no longer wear a mask...
I will show you my face of courage and you will hear my voice."
