The quick ingestion of relaxation
created the symptomatic syndrome
of a cloudy head and heavy eyelids
stumbling away to attempt control
of possible directions of her passage
penitent for inability to fully focus
rescued by a gentle empathic escort
guided through slight confusion
in the warmth of a beautiful day
strolling hand in hand on a path
filled with tickle grass and spider lines
a recited reminder of cinematic scenes
when fears vibrate the surroundings
the companion invites her to lean in
resting her head on solid composure.
