Breathe.
Lungs release and a breathy sigh escapes into the room.
Heavy silence shrouds the noisy thoughts in my head.
Broken heart trembles in between weary lungs.
Wishes at an arm's length away seem too unattainable.
Breathe.
Intimidating fiction projects itself onto a hopeful soul.
A blind man faces me as I paint with a colorless brush.
Touch is not enough to explain what my mouth cannot say.
Sensations screaming in my skin do not transfer easily.
Breathe.
Moments are falling out of skies filled with blue destiny.
Washing away failed visions of my rose-colored imagination.
Sweet torture to inhale the scent of the desire on those lips.
Suffocating in my reluctance to cross the borderline.
